The Pan Prostate Cancer Group (PPCG) is a collaboration between research consortia from several countries, uniting to address important questions in prostate cancer using a combined resource of molecular, clinical and pathology data from thousands of men.

Led by Professor Ros Eeles at the Institute of Cancer Research, it seeks to gain insight into topics such as ‘why some men are more at risk than others’, ‘how prostate cancers begin’, ‘how the biology of the prostate changes with cancer’, ‘whether there are new opportunities for treatment’ and ‘how well we can predict outcomes for individual cancers’.

In St Andrews we are proud to be contributing to a number of PPCG research working groups, particularly those using gene expression and epigenetic data.
